    Michael Collins Heritage Seminar

    Join us for an afternoon of discussion, presentations and film focusing on Michael Collins, the statesman who negotiated Ireland's break with England
    11am - 1pm: Full Irish Breakfast served
    1 - 3pm Presentations from Gerry O'Connell, Bill Martin and Nora Owen

    The Journey: The Irish Experience of Coming To Coventry
    Civic Centre 2 (exhibition space opposite Herbert Art Gallery)
    An exhibition of photographs, oral histories and diary extracts from the Irish community in Coventry, detailing life as an Irish person in the city from the 1940's right through to the present day.
    Come and see if you can spot yourself or any family members and friends.

    An afternoon of fun and culture for all the family with performances from the Mary Theresa McHugh School of Irish Dance and traditional musicians Coventry Comhaltas, family history and Irish language workshops, poetry and storytelling sessions, traditional Irish food tasting and children's games and entertainment.
