Come into the Parlour: Children's Storytelling Sessions

Join Lady Godiva and her Irish Godiva Sister to hear exciting legends and thrilling  tales of giants, fairy folk and the famous Iirsh leprechaun

Join us for an evening of Irish food and entertainment with music from Shannon Sound and a performance from the McHugh School of Irish Dance, finishing with Goode Times Irish Karaoke and Disco

Mass at 8.30am will be followed by breakfast in the Christ the King club and live screening of the pope's visit to Birmingham and the papal mass

Screening of short film based in Coventry 'Welcome to my Country' by local Irish director Les Doherty, followed by Irish classic ' Michael Collons' the well loved screen version of the great man's fight for freedom.

Five Children, Five Cases, Five Pounds: Storytelling with Brigid Boggan

Inspire cafe Bar, Christchurch Spire, New Union Street: 3pm - 5pm

Join local author Brigid Boggan as she reads extracts of her four published memoirs. Followed by a question and answer session with Brigid and if you wish, the opportunity to share your own stories and poems.

Irish Peepers looking for Creepers!

Meeting point Coventry Irish Society offices, Hill Street: 6pm. Ends at Coventry Cathederal: 7.30pm

Join Coventry's very own Lady Godiva on a guided walk around the most historic (and most haunted!) parts of Coventry City Centre. Learn about the City's past, it's most famous people and the ghosts who are still part of Coventry today, as well the folk and the fairies from the Emerald Isle who join them.

History from the World

Quaker Meeting House, Hill Street: 2pm- 4pm

In partnership with the BBC, the British Museum is looking for objects and artefacts that may reflect 'History from the World' to be photographed and added to the project's website. If you have any man made objects which you feel may be of interest to others and may reflect the history of humanity, bring them along to be photographed by BBC researchers.

Extend Exercise Class

EXTEND provides gentle exercise to music for older people or anyone of any age with a disability.

Time for Tea with McMillan Cancer Support

The Standard Club, Tile Hill Lane: 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Today is McMillan Cancer Support's 'WORLDS BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING' so why not join us in a tea dance and help raise money for a good cause. With live music from Frankie and plenty of tea and cakes!
